In March 2026, CareLab hosted the week-long Visibilize-ing Care Festival to make the work of care in society more visible and acknowledge the scholarship, teaching, and creative practice at The New School that centers care. The festival created a space for interdisciplinary dialogue and creative exploration of care as a deeply human and collective practice, particularly in response to the global crisis of care.
I contributed to the design and delivery of Parsons’ Visibilize-ing Care Festival, a public-facing program exploring care through participatory and interdisciplinary design practices. Curated 80 projects with 200 participants, organizing them into thematic groupings and shaping the festival’s overall programming and schedule. I also built the public-facing communications, creating an accessible digital experience for participants and visitors. Alongside the curatorial and communication work, I designed and facilitated a participatory workshop on responsible plastic use, using speculative and reflective methods to engage audiences with questions of sustainability, material ethics, and everyday care.
